How do I clean my rug?
Vacuuming
Regular and thorough vacuuming is the best way to remove soil and dirt particles before they become embedded. If threads are pulled to the surface during vacuuming, do not attempt to pull out the loose fibers, rather, clip the loose fibers with scissors.
Spot + Stain Removal
Immediate treatment of any spill is very important. Blot up liquids with a paper towel or color free absorbent cloth. Scoop up solids with the end of a knife or spoon. Apply an absorbent dry powder cleaner directly to the affected area. Let stand for 15 minutes, and vacuum until all powder is gone. Repeat as necessary. We recommend these cleaners:

Please note that absorbent powder cleaners are intended for spot cleaning only. Be careful of overuse, which may cause build up. angela adams does not recommend any stain repellent treatments that contain silicone, because they tend to accelerate carpet soiling.
Professional Cleaning
Depending on traffic and wear, you may want to have your rug professionally cleaned. Regular cleaning will enhance the color and texture and extend the life of your rug. Find a reputable cleaner in your area that specializes in high quality wool rugs. Inform the cleaner that the rug is made of New Zealand wool, with latex adhesive and a cotton backing. The rug should be cleaned flat on the floor, not in a machine. The rug should never be completely immersed in water. Approved rug cleaning methods are: bonnet cleaning, hot steam extraction, surface cleaning, rotary scrub brush cleaning, water and water based shampoo.
How do your rugs wear?
We use only high quality dyes suited for natural wool fiber. These dyes have very good color-fastness properties; however you should protect your rug from direct sunlight. Rotating your rug and furniture occasionally is recommended to equalize wear and sun effects.

How long do custom orders take?
Custom orders typically take 6-12 weeks depending on the complexity of the project and our partner production timelines.
We can provide a detailed estimate prior to placing the order.
Do Custom Orders Materially Change Pricing?
Given the bespoke nature of nearly all of our products, custom orders typically do not impact the project budget materially.
There is typically a modest increase to lead time, but that is usually the larger factor when it comes to getting the product expertly tailored to fit your specific space.

Where do you ship and how long does it take?
We ship across the U.S. from our New England warehouse via tracked services & ship worldwide via DHL. Standard domestic delivery of in-stock items is usually 3–5 business days.
Made to order and custom products typically ship within 4-6 weeks; products with longer leadtimes, like our SuperLuxe collection, will show on the product page.

Expedited Shipping options are available, and expedited manufacturing of custom orders may be available depending on our artisan partner availability.
What about taxes and tariffs?
All of our prices include tariffs to US-based customers.
State or Provincial taxes are the customers' responsibility, and are calculated at checkout.
For customers based outside the US, we can ship either from our warehouse, or directly from our artisan partners. Because each situation is unique, please contact us if you have any questions.
What’s your return policy?
We strive to ensure the angela adams products you purchase fully meet your expectations. In the event you are not satisfied with your purchase, it may be returned within 30 days for a refund provided the product is in unused condition and returned in a manner to prevent damage.
Refunds will not include original or return shipping costs.
Custom area rugs re non-returnable. These items were made to your specific specifications therefore they may not be returned. Made to Order area rugs larger than 8×10 are non-returnable.
All rugs purchased during a sale, promotion or from the Outlet are considered final sale, sold as-is and are non-returnable.
Promotional pricing cannot be used on previously placed orders.
For returns that fall within our policies, please contact us. We will work together to make sure your return goes smoothly.
Can I cancel my order?
Any order can be cancelled within 24 hours with no charge. Please contact our service team to facilitate your cancellation.
Refunds will be returned to your original form of payment.
For cancellation requests after 24 hours, please contact our service team and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
Manufacturer Defects
All of our rugs are hand crafted with the finest quality materials and exceptional craftsmanship. We ensure that our rugs are of excellent quality and if cared for properly, will last for generations.
In the event that a defect is detected upon initial inspection, we will replace the rug or correct the issue as quickly as possible.

How do I login to my trade account.
The same email you used to create your account on the site is your trade account username.
Simply log in to the site normally and then navigate to the trade portal section and you should see your full professional account information.
How do Projects Work?
We set up projects to allow you to bring multiple ideas to a client or organize a multi-room project with ease.
To save a product to a project simply use the quick shop feature in your account and add directly from the screen. You can create as many new projects as you like and archive them when you are through.
If you have a large order and wish to have us place the order from a project list on your behalf, we would be happy to do so.

At this time, our projects are limited to the individual user. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
