Annalisa Bollini

Some things make you want to quit your job and do something totally different every day. Or at least take a break and dive into into a new medium. Annalisa Bollini’s work has that effect on me. Drawing with thread has always intrigued me and I need to get my grandmothers hoops out and start experimenting. The faces in Annalisa’s work have such real expressions and emotions. I love how her simple lines and gestures tell us so much about the characters and the stories she shares with us. It’s always a pleasure to enjoy and appreciate work that comes from so much thoughtful care and imagination. Thank you Annalisa for inspiring us with your beautiful work. – angela
