Pterapods are also known as Sea Butterflies. They are an important part of the underwater world, and are a critical food source for many marine animals. They are at risk of survival due to climate change and their shells being sensitive to ocean acidification. We celebrate these ocean beauties and are grateful for their contribution to the natural world.
