As the trees begin to bud and the birds sing their hearts out as we walk to work, it’s starting to feel like spring in Maine. I’ve met some majestic trees in my life. Giant western trees that welcome us easterners back into the beautiful back country. Wild tangly Costa Rican trees that look more like giant sea creatures than any land-living species. Whimsical Dr. Seuess-like trees in California that seem to revel in making us smile back at them. And once, as a teenaged island kid, I met some trees at a favorite island spot that shared a secret with me that I will never forget. Try this experiment… go slowly through these images and pause to experience how each tree or group of trees makes you feel. Their energy is very powerful. Thank you to Stylish Eve for this beautiful collection of trees. – angela
